Our Origin Story

In 1972, Earl’s Plumbing officially opened shop under the leadership of David Haralson. David’s son Earl eventually opened what is known today as Earl’s Plumbing in Lubbock, Texas. When Earl Haralson opened the business with his wife and high school sweetheart, Chrissy, the business grew faster than they could have possibly imagined. Soon enough, Earl and Chrissy found they needed help. At the same time, Chuck Hall, Earl’s brother-in-law, was also looking for a career change.

In a moment of happenstance, Chrissy and Chuck’s wife Niki attended Bible study together. During prayer requests, Chrissy asked for wisdom for Earl and his search for help with the business. Niki asked for guidance for Chuck as he searched for a career change. The next steps became obvious. Within a few months, Earl and Chuck joined forces in equal partnership.

Later down the road when Earl and Chuck were ready to expand, they brought on Justin to helm Earl’s Plumbing of San Angelo. We couldn’t be more proud to serve the fine folks of this community. As we grow and expand together, we promise never to lose sight of our commitment and responsibility to our customers to do the best possible job, every time.

Together, every Earl’s Plumbing location is committed to community involvement and takes pride in providing high-quality services to our friends and neighbors. We have all been able to donate plumbing materials and services to help those in need maintain their homes and contribute to local organizations and ministries in town.
